Pickled Okra Recipe


Ingredients
1.5 cup Water
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
10 oz. Okra
1 tsp. Salt

Pour 1.5 cup water into a pot. Add 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 cup Sugar.  Mix. Then add in 1/2 tsp. Turmeric and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Rinse 10 oz. Okra.  Cut the top of the Okra.  Boil some water and add in 1 tsp. Salt.  Add in the Okra.  Stir for a few seconds Drain out the hot water and then put the okra in cold water. Drain out the water and set aside. 

Fill a glass jar with the cooked Okra.  Pour in the Vinegar mixture. Close with the lid and wait for 2 days.  Then enjoy with your meal.
