Tuna Steaks in Tomato Sauce (Cá ngừ sốt cà chua) Recipe

 


Ingredients
1.5 lb. Tuna Steaks
1 lb. Tomatoes
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
3 Tbsp. minced/chopped Garlic/Shallots
1 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning
3 Tbsp. Water
1 tsp. Fish Sauce
chopped Green Onions
Ground Black Peppers

Pan fry 1.5 lb. Tuna Steaks until golden.  Remove from heat and set aside. 

Remove seeds from 1 lb. Tomatoes.  Process the Tomatoes until it turns into a paste.  

Add 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil into a pan and 3 Tbsp. minced/chopped Garlic/Shallots.  Saute for a few seconds. Add in the Tomato Paste.  Add 1 tsp. Salt, 3 tsp. Sugar, 1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning and mix.  Add in 3 Tbsp. Water. Add 1 tsp. Fish Sauce. Add Tuna Steak.  Let it simmer on high heat for a few minutes. Add chopped Green Onions and Ground Black Peppers.  Serve and enjoy!
