Shrimp Grilled with Lemongrass and Chili Pepper Skewers (Tôm nướng sả ớt) Recipe

 


Ingredients

1.5 lb. Shrimp Size 13/15
1 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Kosher Salt
2 Tbsp. minced Lemongrass 
2-3 Dried Chili Pepper
2 Tbsp. minced Garlic
1 tsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. mushroom seasoning
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Hot Chili Oil
1 tsp. Oyster Sauce

Rinse 1.5 lb. Shrimp (size 13/15 or any size will work). Cut 2-3 Dried Chili Pepper and mix with 2 Tbsp. minced Lemongrass. 

Marinate Mixture. Cut 2-3 Dried Chili Peppers into 2 Tbsp. minced Lemongrass. Pour the Chili Pepper and Lemongrass into a small processor.  Add in 2 Tbsp. minced Garlic, 1 tsp. Kosher Salt, 1 tsp. Sugar, 1/2 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning, 1 tsp. Sesame Oil. Mix. Pour into a small bowl. 

Marinate the Shrimp. Mix the mixture in with the Shrimp.  Add in 1 tsp. Oyster Sauce, 1 tsp. Olive Oil and 1 tsp. Hot Chili Oil. Mix well. Marinate for 15 minutes.

Thread the shrimp onto the skewers. Place on griller, grill until it turns pink and cooked. 

Serve and enjoy.
