Fried Banana with Black Sesame (Bánh chuối chiên mè đen) Recipe

 


Ingredients
8 Thai Bananas
1 bag Banana Batter Mix 
1/4 cup Black Sesame Seeds
Water
Frying Oil

Create a long aluminum mold. 

Pour 1 bag Banana Batter Mix in a large bowl.  Add in enough Water until it turns into a thick batter.  Cover and set aside for 15 minutes. 

Rinse 1/4 cup Black Sesame Seeds.  After 15 minutes, add the Black Sesame Seeds into the batter.  

Have your Frying Oil ready.  Peel a Thai Banana, place in a plastic bag and flatten the banana.  Place the flatten banana in the mold and pour the batter onto the banana.  Slide it into the frying oil.  When it’s starts to lightly brown, remove from frying oil and dip it into the batter again.  Fry for a second time until golden.  Repeat with the rest of the bananas and batter.  Enjoy!
