How to make Pho Seasoning Bags (Cách lam phở seasoning bags) Recipe

 


Ingredients

10g Star Anise
10g Chinese Cinnamon
5g Fennel Seeds
4g Dried Cloves
5g Coriander Seeds

Using medium-low heat, roast 10g Star Anise and 10g Chinese Cinnamon for 2-4 minutes.  Remove from heat and set aside.

Roast 5g Fennel Seeds, 4g Dried Cloves and 5g Coriander Seeds until golden.  Remove from heat. 

Using a processor, put in the Star Anise and Chinese Cinnamon.  It does not need to be finely chopped, just break into smaller pieces is good enough. 

Divide the seasoning and place in two seasoning bags.   Tie the top really tight, use when making Pho.
