Banh Chien Tom Kho (Fried Dried Shrimp Cake)

Banh Chien Tom Kho (Fried Dried Shrimp Cake)

1 1/2 cup Tapioca Starch
1/2 cup Water
1/4 cup Dried Shrimp (Soaked in water)
1 chopped Green Onion
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Sugar
1/8 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning

In a bowl add in 1 1/2 cup Tapioca Starch. Add in 1/2 tsp. Salt. Add in 1/4 tsp. Sugar. Add in 1/8 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning.
Mix. Add in 1/2 cup Water and mix. Soak 1/4 cup Dried Shrimp in water for at least 4 hours, drain out and add into bowl.
Add in 1 chopped Green Onion and mix. In a pan add in frying oil. Using high heat, pour in 1/2 cup batter. Remember to turn the cake to cook evenly.
Fry until crispy, remove from heat and place on paper towel.  Repeat until you use up all the batter.
