Vietnamese Caramelized Shrimp (Tom Rim)
6 Prawns or Large Shrimp
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1/2 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce
1 Tbsp. Water
1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp. Annatto Oil
Chopped Green Onions
Remove the head and tail of your Prawns, rinse and set aside.
In a pan add in 1 Tbsp. minced Garlic and 1 Tbsp. Annatto Oil. Saute for a few seconds.
Add in 1/2 tsp. Salt, 1/2 tsp. Sugar, 1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce, 1/2 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce, and 1 Tbsp. Water.
Let it simmer until cook then add in some chopped Green Onions and Black Pepper.
