Grilled Shrimp on Lemongrass Sticks (Chạo tôm nướng sả) Recipe

 


Ingredients
2.5 lb. Shrimp
Lemongrass Sticks
2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning
1 cup Shallots/Garlic
1 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. Tapioca Starch
1/2 tsp. Ground Chili Pepper
1/2 tsp. Chili Flakes
1 tsp. Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce
1 tsp. Baking Powder

Peel and devein 2.5 lb. Shrimp.  Place in a food processor.  Add in 1 cup of Garlic/Shallots, 1 tsp. Baking Powder, 2 Tbsp. Tapioca Starch, 2 tsp. Sugar, 1/2 tsp. Salt, 1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning, 1/2 tsp. Chili Pepper Powder, 1 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce, 1 tsp. Sesame Oil, 1/2 tsp. Chili Flakes, 1 tsp. Ground Black Pepper.  Process until it turns into a paste.  Place in the fridge for 1 hour.  After 1 hour, process again.  Wrap the Shrimp paste onto Lemongrass stick.  Repeat until you used up all the Shrimp paste.  Grill until golden.  Serve and enjoy!
