Milk Pudding with Syrup (Sua Tuoi Dac Nuoc Duong)
Ingredients
Pudding
1 package Gelatin
1 cup milk
1 cup Water
1 tsp. Almond Extract
3/4 cup Sugar
Syrup
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
Sliced Almonds
In a bowl add in 1/2 cup cold Water and 1 package of Gelatin. Mix well and set aside for 5 minutes.
In a sauce pan add in 1/2 cup water. Add 3/4 cup Sugar. Using medium heat, bring to a simmer. Add 1 cup Milk and 1 tsp. Almond Extract.
Mix and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. In a large bowl add in the Gelatin mixture and the Milk mixture. Mix until it blends together.
Pour it into 4 small bowls. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for at least 5-6 hours or until it sets.
To make the syrup. In a sauce pan add in 1 cup Water. Add 1/2 cup Brown Sugar. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Once the Milk Pudding has set, pour some syrup on top of each bowl. Add some sliced Almonds on top and serve.
