Stir-fry Fried Tilapia Fillets with Bell Pepper (Cá rô phi xào ớt chuông) Recipe

 


Ingredients
2 large Tilapia Fillets 
1/2 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Kosher Salt
1 tsp. Ginger Powder
Ground Black Pepper
1 Bell Pepper
Green Onions
1/2 Onion
1 Egg
Corn Starch
Frying Oil
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Oyster Sauce

Rinse 2 large Tilapia Fillets and cut into large cubes.  Place in a large bowl to marinate.  Add in 1/2 tsp. Sugar, 1 tsp. Kosher Salt, 1 tsp. Ginger Powder and some Ground Black Pepper.  Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes. 

Cut 1 Bell Pepper into bite size pieces.  Cut Green Onions.  Cut 1/2 an Onion.  Place all on a plate and set aside. 

After 15 minutes, add in 1 Egg into the Fish.  Mix well.  Coat each piece with Corn Starch.  Place in frying oil and fry until golden. 

Add in 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil into a pan.  Put heat at medium high.  Add in the Onions, Bell Pepper and some of the Green Onions.  Saute for about 1-2 minutes.  Add in 1 tsp. Oyster Sauce.  Add in the Fried Fish.  Add in the rest of the Green Onions.  Add a pinch of Ground Black Pepper.  Mix well and serve.  Enjoy!
