Roast Chicken Stuffed with Potatoes (Gà nướng khoai tây) Recipe

 


Ingredients

1 whole Chicken
1 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Ginger Powder
1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning
2 tsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Sate
1 Tbsp. minced Garlic
1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 Potatoes
Onions


Rinse 1 whole Chicken.  Poke the whole chicken with a fork.  Place in a large pan to marinate. 

In a small bowl, add in 1 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce, 1 tsp. Chili Powder, 1 tsp. Ginger Powder, 1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning, 2 tsp. Sugar, 1 Tbsp. Sate, 1 Tbsp. minced Garlic, 1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper, 1/2 tsp. Salt and mix well. Save about 1 Tbsp.  Use the rest to rub into the Chicken. Remember to wear gloves. Let it marinate for 1 hour. 

Cook 3 Potatoes until soften.  Peel the skin and cut into smaller pieces.  Place in a bowl, add in some Onions and add in the 1 Tbsp. you saved earlier.  Mix well. 

After 1 hour, cut slits into the chicken.  Then stuff the inside with potatoes and onions.  Prepare the chicken to roast.  Roast until cooked and golden.  About 350 degrees F 25-30 minutes.  Remove when golden and enjoy!
