Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac) Vietnamese Recipe


Ingredients
Ingredients to Marinate:
1 1/2 lbs. Sirloin Beef
2 Tbsps Light Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp. Dark Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp. Honey
2 tsp. Black Pepper
1 Tbsp. Fish Sauce
Other Ingredients:
3 Tbsps. Unsalted Butter
3 Tbsps. Canola Oil
3 Tbsps. minced Garlic
3 Tbsps. Rice Cooking Wine
1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
Sliced Tomatoes
Sliced Red Onion
Watercress
Cut the Beef into bite size pieces. Put in a large bowl.  Add 2 Tbsps. Light Soy Sauce. 1 Tbsp. Dark Soy Sauce. 1 Tbsp. Honey.
2 tsp. Black Pepper. 1 Tbsp. Fish Sauce.  Mix well.  Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate for 2 hours.
In a pan, melt 3 Tbsps. Unsalted Butter. Add 3 Tbsps. Canola Oil. Add 3 Tbsps. minced Garlic. Using high heat, sauté for a few seconds.
Add in 3 Tbsps. Rice Cooking Wine. Add 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar. Give it a quick mix and quickly add in the Beef.
Pour in the left over marinade.
Using high heat, cook the beef until it starts to caramelized.  Remember to turn the Beef so it will cook evenly.
Once it starts to caramelize quickly add in the Green and Red Onions.  Mix and remove from heat. 
Serve with Sliced Tomatoes and Watercress.
