Fried Chicken (Ga Chien Lan Bot)




Fried Chicken (Ga Chien Lan Bot)
Ingredients:
Marinate
7 Drumsticks
1 tsp. minced Garlic
1 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. White Pepper
1/3 cup Chicken Broth
Flour
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Five Spice Powder
1 tsp. White Pepper
1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
Dipping Sauce
1/4 cup Chicken Broth
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce or to taste
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp. Hot Chili Pepper Sauce
1 tsp. Dark Soy Sauce
Other
Frying Oil


Cut slits into 7 Drumsticks.  Put into a bowl to marinate. Add 1 tsp. minced Garlic. Add 1 tsp. Salt. Add 1/2 tsp. Sugar. Add 3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder.
Add 1 tsp. White Pepper.  Add 1/3 cup Chicken Broth.  Mix well and cover with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and let it marinate for about one hour. 
In a bowl add 1 cup All Purpose Flour.  Add 1 tsp. Five Spice Powder.  Add 1 tsp. White Pepper.  Add 1/3 cup Breadcrumbs.
Mix well.
After letting the Drumsticks marinate for one hour.
Roll the Drumsticks in the Flour mixture. Place on a rack. Put into frying oil.  Fry until golden. Remove and place on paper towel.
To make the dipping sauce. In a bowl add 1/4 cup Chicken Broth. Add 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce or to taste. Add 1 tsp. Olive Oil.
Add 1 tsp. Sesame Oil. Add 1/2 tsp. Hot Chili Pepper Sauce. Add 1 tsp. Dark Soy Sauce. Mix and serve with Fried Chicken.
