Pickled Green Chilies (Ot Ngam Giam)

Pickled Green Chilies (Ot Ngam Giam)
1 cup Serrano Pepper or Jalapeno Pepper
3/4 cup Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/3 cup Water
2 Garlic Cloves

In a sauce pan pour in 3/4 cup Vinegar.  Pour in 1/3 cup Water.  Add in 1 Tbsp. Sugar. Add in 1/2 tsp. Salt.
Using medium heat, bring to a boil and remove from heat.  Then let it cool. Using Serrano or Jalapeno Pepper, cut into slices.
Put the pepper into a glass jar. Add in 2 peeled Garlic Cloves.  Pour in the Vinegar mixture. Place plastic wrap on top then cover with a lid.
It should be ready in 1 day.  Keep in the refrigerator to use.
