Braised Dried Snakehead Fish with Pineapple (Khô cá lóc kho thơm) Recipe

 


Ingredients
1/2 Pineapple (cut)
2 Dried Snakehead Fish (cut)
2 1/2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp. Water (add more as needed)
1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning
chopped Green Onions
2 Tbsp. minced Garlic 
1 tsp. Fish Sauce
1 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
2 Chili Pepper
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Add 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil and 2 Tbsp. minced Garlic into a pot.  Sauté for a few seconds on medium high heat.  Add in 1/2 Pineapple (cut) and 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt. Add in 1 tsp. Sugar. Continue to to stir on medium high heat for a few minutes.  Add in 2 Dried Snakehead Fish (cut into bite size pieces).  Add in 1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning and 1 1/2 tsp. Sugar. Add in 1 Tbsp. Water (add more as needed).  Let it simmer for a few minutes. Add 1 tsp. Fish Sauce. Add in some chopped Green Onions and 2 Chili Peppers. Add in 1 tsp. Ground Black Pepper. Serve with meal and enjoy!
