Vietnamese Pork With Shrimp Sauce (Mam Ruoc)
1 lb. Pork Belly
2 Tbsp. and 1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
1 1/2 cup Minced Lemongrass
2 Tbsp. Shrimp Sauce
4 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp Mushroom Seasoning
2 Tbsp. Water
2 tsp. Oil
Cut 1 lb. Pork into small pieces. Using a pan add in the Pork, stir until it is no longer pink.
Then add in 2 Tbsp. Minced Garlic.
Now stir until it becomes crispy. Put into a bowl and set aside.
In a different pan add in 2 tsp. Oil and 1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic. Saute for about 1 minute.
Add in 1 1/2 cup Minced Lemongrass.
Stir and add in the Pork.
Add in 2 Tbsp. Shrimp Sauce.
Add in 4 Tbsp. Sugar.
Add in 1 tsp. Mushroom Seasoning. Mix well.
Add in 2 Tbsp. Water and mix.
Stir until the water absorbed and you are done. You can add in a chili pepper to make it spicy.
